Nikki Johnson
Our stellar Assistant Nikki has industry experience as an actor, model, radio personality, casting assistant and acting coach. Her actor credits include several films and TV shows on Disney+, HBO and Starz —working in both the Los Angeles and Southeast markets. Prior to that, she enjoyed a successful ten year radio career in sales, promotion and as an on-air personality. Nikki grew up in Norwood, NC and attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she earned her Theatre Arts Degree with a Film Concentration. After graduation, she established the Nikkita Donyal Johnson Diversity Scholarship of Theatre at UNCW for students of diversity who are interested in pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. Nikki is energetic and outgoing. She loves seafood, teaching fitness classes in Atlanta, and enjoys spending time with her nieces, nephews, and siblings.
Amanda Garsys
Our junior Agent Amanda has invaluable film and TV experience in casting and production for ABC, CBS and major film studios. Starting out as a child actor and model herself, Amanda soon turned her attention behind the scenes to work as an assistant at a busy talent agency where she answered phones and faxed scripts. She also recorded and posted client tapes to casting sites long before the self-taping era. After completing her studies at the College of Charleston, she worked as a costumer and stylist for several film, TV and commercial projects. Her desire to see actors succeed led her to Sol Talent as an agent. Amanda grew up between Atlanta and Germany before relocating to Charleston. She is helpful and has never met a stranger. When she’s not in the office, Amanda enjoys golfing, baking, volunteering at a therapeutic horseback riding ranch and spending time with her family and dogs.
Vanessa Adams
Our senior Agent Vanessa is a voting member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences who began her industry career working in casting and production for Fox, ABC and major film studios. Vanessa launched Sol Talent in 2013 after working five years at one of the oldest agencies in the Southeast. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Information & Computer Science, she gained a wealth of business knowledge while employed with the U.S. Department of Defense in Europe in the 90s and later with a multinational engineering company. Born in New York, Vanessa grew up between Miami, Colombia and Germany. She speaks Spanish and German and has developed a respectable “Southern drawl” after living two decades between Atlanta and Charleston with her Navy veteran husband and children. Outside of work, Vanessa volunteers as a fishing instructor and with programs assisting older adults. Vanessa is a voracious reader, likes reversible things and has traveled to over 70 countries. She is driven and introverted —until you engage her in a pun war.
